On the construction site of the redevelopment Hall Gare Maritime, a former rail station in Brussels, a corner of the building is built full-sized. All those involved with the construction can evaluate the choices concerning construction method, windows and finishing. In the meantime, more than half of the 658 foundation piles have been driven. The first elements of the wood structure are mounted in October. The structure was calculated by Ney & Partners WOW, who are specialised in wood structures. This is a second innovative cooperation with Neutelings-Riedijk Architects on the Brussels site of Tour and Taxi.
